On Friday, May 15, 2026, a two-day training on Disability Inclusion and Civic Engagement was concluded for five branches of the Rwanda Union of the Blind: Tare, Gasaka, Kibumbwe, Shangi, and Mahembe.
The training was supported by GIZ/GOPA and attended by representatives of the Nyamagabe District leadership, as well as partners from GIZ and GOPA.
The purpose of the training was to strengthen the capacity of participants and promote the inclusion and active participation of persons with visual impairments in civic engagement and community development activities.
